I was thinking about doing one thing automotive related while I was in town. Any ideas on what to do that is car related?

Other ideas are welcome too. I am thinking Chrysler Building, 9/11 memorial, 30 Rock, and USS Intrepid

I tried this last time I was NYC; even called ahead morning of to make sure they were going to be there.

Walked down from midtown with my wife...and nobody was at the shop.

I was disappoint.

Yup, they have public hours. You can peruse their wares and usually one of the guys will show you around. That’s how I met Aaron Brown for the first time.

Can you go in the Chrysler Building? It’s one of my absolute favorite designs, and we walked there the last time I was in NYC but I don’t think they had a public observation deck or anything like that.

We actually are staying in a hotel on the Jersey side and then taking a 15 minute train to the city.

You can go in the lobby and check out the decor and murals and stuff, but the rest is in use by businesses. A huge bummer, since it’s such a cool building. I wish I could go back in time and visit the Cloud Club .
